Penny II the Dog needs a home

Penny II is a loving, high energy dog who enjoys both cuddles and playtime. She loves everyone she sees, and enjoys playing with toys and people. She quickly learned the commands for “no, sit and down”, and is both praise and food motivated.

Penny’s still learning to walk nicely on leash, but will need additional practice to become consistent. Her biggest vice is… “cats”! She chases them and shouldn’t be trusted around them! Her high energy might be overwhelming to small or timid dogs or small children (like toddlers). She would love to romp with a dog her own size and I believe she would do well with them. She loves to sleep in the “human bed” but also sleeps well in her crate. She is a submissive dog and hasn’t ever shown any signs of aggression. This sweet, loyal girl just loves playing hard and then relaxing and cuddling beside you.

If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Penny II is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
