zzy is such a sweetheart! She was very timid/shy at first, but has warmed up A LOT since we brought her home. She loves cuddles and being near her humans. She will follow you and find a place to relax in whatever room you are in, once she knows she is allowed in that room. Before going into a new room, she will look at you and wait for you to let her know that she is welcome. It took her a couple days (and a few treats) to get her to come upstairs with us. Now she roams free throughout the entire house, although she prefers to lay on the couch, which is also where she sleeps.

Izzy met her doggy foster sister, Bella, the day after she came home with us. Bella was a little too excited for her liking, so Izzy growled at her. But after a long walk together, they are now just fine in each others company. Izzy doesn't seem too interested in playing, but she LOVES to be outside and go on walks. She does excellent on a leash and is perfectly fine walking side-by-side with her foster sister. She is potty trained and is really good about going potty as soon as she gets outside. I work from home 4 days a week, so we haven't had to put Izzy in the crate yet. However, I ran errands for about an hour and she did just fine outside of the crate! Overall, shes a very quiet dog and rarely ever barks. She recently picked up [from our dog] barking at the UPS and mailman anytime they drive by our house, but even then her bark is not loud. Izzy doesn't know any commands, like sit or stay, but she is a smart dog and I believe she could learn those commands in time. We've been focusing on making Izzy comfortable and getting her warmed up to us before anything else, which she definitely has!
