Adopt a Bunny Rabbit (short coat)
Brownie (#3) the Rabbit needs a home
Brownie arrived at MHRR at the end of Dec 2017. She was originally found in St. Mary Parish, trying to tunnel into some insulation under a trailer.
This sweet girl loves getting attention, even when she is out during playtime. She has been around cats, dogs, and even a rooster in her previous foster home! She loves to run and jump and play, so she would do great in a home that gives her plenty of time to hop around the house where her people are. She jumps up on the couch too! She's doing about 98% on litterbox use.
This pet is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days. Transport to other areas can sometimes be arranged after adoption approval. See magichappensrescue.com/adoptinfo for full information on adoption and an adoption application.
Want to help the bunnies but can't adopt? You can sponsor a spay or neuter or help in many other ways. See http://magichappensrescue.com/howtohelp for more ways to help.
