Alex and Cara the Dog needs a home

Alex and Cara are 8 year old bonded long-haired Chihuahua's.  Their elderly owner was taken ill and can no longer care for them.   Unfortunately, the owner's daughter cannot take them in as she has multiple dogs of her own and asked BCAAOFNJ Rescue for help rehoming them.  Alex and Cara are missing the companionship of their owner. They would do best in a quieter home with no young children as being Chihuahua's they are happiest to just sit on their owner's lap. Alex and Cara must be adopted together.
