Godzilla the Cat needs a home
Curious - Playful - Independent Godzilla has a beautiful, sleek blue-gray coat and sparkling yellow eyes - she's one looker of a cat. She's also full of personality - Godzilla contains multitudes. She likes attention (especially chin rubs) but she's not a lap cat. She enjoys neck massages and ear scratches, but definitely does not want you to touch her back legs. She's not a cuddle bug but she likes to sleep at the foot of your bed. Basically, she enjoys some human interaction but she's not a clingy cat. Godzilla also likes to play with her foster mom, but she's also happy playing by herself. Her favorite toys include small catnip mice, squeaker mice, and feather wands. But she doesn't care at all about chasing the laser pointer. She's great about using her scratching post appropriately. Some days Godzilla is pretty active and plays a lot; other days, she's content to chill out in a windowsill or on the cat tree and watch the birds. She has a cute little meow and a nice purr that you'll hear when she's content. She can be a bit of a finicky eater. She likely doesn't have the patience for small children but would do fine with older children who can respect her independence. Godzilla would do best in a loving home where the humans respect her autonomy and embrace her complexity - she's a cat that requires little but can give so much in return. Godzilla is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Godzilla is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip.
