Xander Bogaerts the Cat needs a home

(Xander) Bogart is a loving, curious, be-your-best-friend male tuxedo. He gives head butts, sits on your work, kisses your ears and does not mind being held. Although he is eager to be by your side, he is well-mannered and can be content just watching you do your thing. Bogart wants to be your only kitty and would do great in any type of environment - a busy home with older kids, a small apartment with a senior. He may get a little lonely if left for long periods of time (i.e. 8+ hours) as he craves human interaction. He immediately became one of our favorites!





Bogart has been living in foster since having issues with high blood pressure. Bogart also has slight loss of vision, but this does not affect his day to day activities. He takes his medication like a champ, and is a friendly, affectionate lovin
g feline. Bogart does need special diet, but it is not prescription.



 


Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided.



The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) is open Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-4PM or by appointment on Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 11AM- 2PM. Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org, outside of our Adoption Center in PetSmart, or by emailing [email protected]. A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.

Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally.
