Queso the Dog needs a home
Queso is a 1 year old border collie mix. 40 lbs, but needs to gain a little more weight. He came to us from a shelter recently (late January). He had been turned in because of an illness which turned out to be ehrlichia, which is tick-born. The shelter had him on medication that has helped; he is on the mend and will be treated for at least a month with vet check ups to see that all is going well.
He's a very nice boy. He's been great with all the house dogs here, including the tiny 5 lb ones. He has been obedient and quiet. He loves people, and has been terrific with the child visitors here. We're told that he's good with cats and that he's house trained. We are madly in love with him ourselves.
