Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Pointer / Mixed

This gorgeous girl is Illinois! She is an adorable 3 year old Labrador/Pointer mix. Illinois came to Labs and More pregnant and delivered a single puppy in one of our experienced foster homes. Because she is such a good mama she took on a few foster puppies to help another young mama who was struggling with her large litter and we just think Illinois is awesome. She can be just a tad shy but she warms up nicely and she is a sweet girl. Illinois is a sweet laid back girl who is happy to go for short walks with you. She is good with other dogs but doesn't care to play with them and would not require another dog to be happy. She would do fine with a less active family and will be fine left alone while you are at work as long as she gets a short walk in the morning and you come home and throw the ball for her. Illinois is great on and off leash. Once she is bonded to you and her recall is consistent you will have no problem taking her to off-leash parks. She does bark to alert you of things going on then usually settles down once you are aware of the situation. If you are looking for a sweet, laid back dog companion...Illinois could be your perfect match!
