Trixie the Dog needs a home
Meet our beautiful and oh so gentle girl, Trixie. This Irish Setter (best guess based on her red color, silky hair and size) is one of the sweetest and most loving girls to come to TMHPR. She quickly became a volunteer favorite during her time at the Adoption Center.
Her time in her foster home has allowed us to learn so much about this girl. She is in a home with other dogs where she LOVES playing with her canine buddy. She and the resident dog spend most of their time wrestling and playing chase. This has convinced us that she will need a home with at least one other dog who also is also active and looking for a wrestling buddy.
We are looking for a home where Trixie is loved and able to sleep outside of a crate. She is currently sleeping in bed with her foster mom and the resident dogs. Trixie is learning to walk on a leash and prefers the use of a harness, over a collar.
She is a girl who loves cuddles on the couch and belly rubs. So, if you are planning on a night of binge watching, Trixie is in for the long haul. She also loves her treats and has been known to take them and hide them away from the other dogs. She is quite the silly girl and keeps her foster mom laughing.
