Sable the Rabbit needs a home
Sable came to MHRR in Jan 2017 after being surrendered to West Baton Rouge Parish Animal Control.
Sable is a former MHRR bunny, but we just can't figure out who! When she was turned into WBRAC, she was reported to be spayed and 4 yrs old. Sure enough she has the "MHR" tattoo in her ear, so we were able to reclaim her easily and know that she is already spayed. She is fine with gentle dogs of all sizes and even a playful cat. She's a big girl, and does great with the litterbox. She has been to a presentation with children and did great while being held, but can be fussy if bothered too much.
This bun is currently fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped or previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
