Adopt a Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)

Well hi there beautiful person, my name's Miller, and it's such a pleasure to meet you. In fact, I can't wait to start on this journey with you! All the places we'll go and the things we'll see, though I'm sure my favorite will be the time I share with you at my new forever home. I have cage and fence barrier issues, and don't show well at all when people come out to visit with me while I'm in my kennel. Though PLEASE don't let that discourage you, go up front and get on of the staff to get me out for you. Once I'm out of my kennel my demeanor and personality completely changes. You'll get to see the affectionate, playful, happy go lucky, goofball side of me! I love to jump up and give me hugs and kisses, and if you're not ready I can easily knock you off balance. In my previous home, I lived with three smaller children and did pretty well with all of them, though since I have some sensitivity issues, and don't always know how big I really am, I would do better in a home that had older children. Even though, I'm almost four years old, I'm still pretty spunky and energetic, and love spending the majority of my time running, playing, and adventuring around. In fact, some of my favorite toys to play with are ropes and bouncy balls, and I'm always down for a good game of fetch! In my previous home I spent the majority of the day outside, and I would really love to find a farm like home, where I can have lots of space to run around and play on. Then maybe be able to come back inside at night and interact and hang out with all of my human friends, plus I am housetrained. I lived with another larger dog in my previous home, and was friendly and playful with him, and in addition, I have been friendly with the other dogs I've met here at CHHS. In fact, I would really love to go to a home that had other canines that I can run around and play with most of the day. I also seemed to do okay with the Housecat here at CHHS, and was more interested in smelling all the new smells that were in the room.
