Zinnia the Cat needs a home

Zinnia was turned into the Princes George’s shelter in mid-April 2017.  She was ready for adoption but on April 27, she gave birth to two kittens.  The shelter did not even know she was pregnant likely since she is so petite. Her foster family picked her up from the shelter when the kittens were only 3 days old. 


Zinnia is very regal looking since she sits tall and her white chest just stands out. She has the color and pattern of both an orange and brown tabby, hence she is called a torbie (tortoiseshell and tabby). She will be a bit nervous at first as she settles in. She doesn't yet want to sit in people's laps, but will sit right next to you. She loves to be gently petted on the top of her head. She likes to follow you around and will probably like to sleep with you. Zinnia is very calm around other cats and her foster brother dog.
