Hi my name is Margarita but my parents call me Marge. I am mostly deaf but can hear some pitches but my foster parents don't notice I'm deaf anymore, so don't let that scare you about me. I like to be by your side at all times if possible, I can't hear where you are so I like to be able to at least see where you are. I have learned hand signs for kennel, sit, lay down and wait. My parents are also starting me in training classes in a couple days so I will learn even more soon!
I haven't had one accident in the house but I'm not too sure about being in my kennel. I will bark when I am put in there sometimes for just a bit sometimes for awhile so I would do best in a house where there are no neighbors for me to bother until I get more used to my kennel. My foster parents let me sleep on the floor on my pet bed at night which I do great at, I don't make any noises or get into anything all night.
My only "downfall" is I don't love sharing my food or bones with other new dogs... I am already getting better at sharing with my foster sister, but if there is another dog in the house I would need time to get used to sharing with them. I love other dogs in general though - and play great with them. I am very snuggly, smart, affectionate, and loyal. I keep getting better every day!
