This handsome dude is Curley Stooge Two!
He and his brother Larry were dropped off at one of our southern partner's shelter. We don't know why. They are absolutely adorable, friendly little fellows eager to find their forever homes. They appear to be a Blue Heeler mix about 5 months old. We don't know about their house training, but crate training and learning to walk on a leash are in progress. They do well with other dogs and are fine with kids - cats are an unknown. They're affectionate, even-tempered and "puppy-goofy." Being eager to please and smart they should do well in obedience class where they can continue their socialization with new dogs and new people, learn lots of cool stuff, and you and your newest family member can get in some quality bonding time. A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your pup to romp and play, but if that's not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park or doggie daycare should help provide the exercise a growing puppy needs. Dogs of all ages benefit from mental exercise, too - think puzzle toys and games.
Curley knows bringing him up to be a well-mannered canine citizen will be a lot of work, and take a fair amount of time and patience, but he also knows that puppy kisses and furry snuggles are irresistible. Fill out an application today for Curley Stooge Two - jus' looka dat face!
Adoption Fee: $550
**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
