Chocolate is a lovely, affectionate young lady in need of a home! She's unsure in new environments for a day or so, then settles in nicely. She’s an expert lap-sitter and kneader, and loves belly rubs. Chocolate will make a great pet for a calm home.
Chocolate has lived with other cats and she's liked some dogs she's met, but seems overwhelmed by especially larger ones. She's shy around young kids but doesn't mind them when they're a little older.
Chocolate came to us as the kitten of a feral mom (don't worry - she got spayed!) and was the tiniest of the litter. She was adopted out as a baby and loved very much, but her family had to give her up due to health issues. Chocolate also answers to "Choco" and "Choco Taco."
Adoption Fee: $65
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.
Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.
Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
