Heart--Wants a SPONSOR pls the Dog needs a home

Heart is a 6 yr old beagle mix gal - red and white w/ red ticking - just 25#!  She is mostly red on top with white chest and belly and is a special gal who was not socialized as a pup; she's come a long ways with us, but is still quite fearful.  It will take someone special to give her what she needs....time, patience, another dog.....  She has made canine friends; sleeps on my bed but doesn't allow me to pet her.  She'll eat food from your hand and is excellent at catching a tossed treat....all experienced beagles are!



If you have experience and success with this sort of dog, we'd love to meet you.  A few years ago we had a similar young female - her new mom sent us photos of Susie sitting on the sofa that night - miraculous!  She made a liar out of me - hope it happens again~~



Heart would really love a sponsor...or several.....basically, that's a fairy godmother, cheerleader, godfather and friend....

For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
