~~Now I'm living in Oakdale with 4 kids, a mom and dad, an elderly cat and scrappy medium-sized beagle. My foster mom says I'm amazing with everyone! I don't mind when the kids pick me up and carry me around, and I will gently let them know when I'm done playing. The old cat and I get along well - I'd like to be more cuddly but she's fine keeping her distance. I stand up for myself when the dog chases me, but we're getting along better every day. I really love to eat soft food and chasing laser lights and string! I'm learning to take treats from my foster family's hands, and they say I'm a love-bug with the loudest purr. I'd be up for joining any kind of home where I'd be loved, played with and fed some of my favorite foods. Please come visit me soon - I'm excited to meet my forever family!

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
