Lucy the Dog needs a home
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
Lucy is a glorious purebred German shepherd. She has had some training and has been around children. She is fine with them. She likes to be the center of attention, so she should probably be an only dog. Being a German shepherd, she has loyalty running in her veins. And lucy has an extra helping of that loyalty. She picks her person or family and she is THEIRS! Her people are her whole world. She loves to be anywhere her people are and enjoys playing in the yard with them. She does not like cats, but really loves walks. Can you see her loping along right beside you? That's where she wants to be. We are requiring a physical fence for her, as she would chase a squirrel taunting her on the other side of her boundery. Lucy has all the characteristics you would expect from a beautiful German shepherd. She may be 8 years old, but she acts like a much younger dog, enjoying playing and exercise.
