Thandie the Dog needs a home
The name Thandie means loving one in South African, which is highly appropriate for this lovable lady! Thandie is a Soi Dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. She and a group of her friends traveled from the SDF facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in December 2017. Thandie is a total sweetheart with the most docile, gentle, friendly, easygoing, and even-tempered personality. She gets along well with everybody she meets whether two or four legged. Thandie is an older gal of about 7, but age is just a number as she enjoys going on walks and exploring new sights and smells like the best of them. She is a great medium size of about 40 pounds more or less. During her down time, you will likely catch her napping in the sun. Thandie would make a wonderfully devoted and laidback companion for any lucky family!
