Cali the Dog needs a home

Cali is a 6 year old, 10 lb chihuahua/pug mix. We first had her here a year ago when she was turned in because of a move. She was adopted soon after but was turned in again because of the new owner's health and travel issues. She's a little scared from the sudden change and from being surrounded by a lot of strange dogs, but she likes getting comforting hugs from volunteers. She's really a friendly girl and has gradually been adjusting. Her recent owner called her "so sweet" and well behaved and said she will do best in a home where she's the only pet and where there are no young kids.



House trained, including pee pad trained. She'll be a good apartment dog. Crate trained. Doesn't like car rides.



If you're looking for a lap dog, check her out! Our director calls her "our number 1 cuddler".

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
