Kisses the Dog needs a home
We will be doing adoptions on Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th from 12-4pm at Palo Alto Pet Food Express. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated and microchipped.

All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express from 12-4pm on Sat. Feb. 17th & Sun. Feb. 18th or until adopted. If interested, please fill out an application if you would like the first opportunity to meet prior to the start of the event. (We will pre-approve one home to meet per dog.)
Kisses is an 8 month old Yorkie mix who weighs 11.6lbs. She has a nonshedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. She will require regular grooming. She came from the shelter and we groomed her into the beautiful little stunner that she currently is. She was shy at the shelter but the staff was won over by her fairly quickly. She earned their love with her very gentle nature. She needs that home that goes slowly with her initially and who will ask that strangers do the same. Give her time to adjust and take a hands off approach initially and she'll be running up to you and begging for your affection in no time.
Kisses lives with other dogs in her foster home. She is very dog social. She will gravitate to other dogs and will be won over by a home that has a dog that wants to be friends with her and shows her that the humans are A-OK. Kisses is not a nuisance barker. She's more likely to be run from anything that makes her nervous or scares her than she is to stand around and bark at it!
Kisses lives with a dog savvy cat.
Kisses will need a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children they need to be dog savvy (always grown up in their home with dogs) and over the age of 10.
