Thor is almost 3 years old. He was purchased as a puppy and raised around children. When he was a little over a year old, his family boarded him at a pet hotel due to an impending move and never came back to get him. For almost 1 1/2 years, this sweet boy has been living at the kennel, but the owner and staff love him and didnâ??t want to have him euthanized. Instead, he has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and even sent to boot camp training to enhance his chances of finding a new family who will stand by him. Thor would love to be the center of attention, as such, he would prefer to be the only dog in his home. He is great with kids, loves to play ball, enjoys a good swim in the pool and has very good house manners.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
