Adopt a Carolina Dog / Mixed (short coat)

While we are not completely certain of her heritage, it seems there is some Carolina Dog, perhaps some terrier, and an extra dose of super duper cute!! She is currently about 40lbs at 3yrs old and is all legs and ears (Nov 2017). Her coat is a lovely dark brindle, and her smile is stupendous! Matilda is an active, playful girl that adores other dogs but she is NOT good with CATS. She has grown up with other dogs and would absolutely love another one in her forever home, but they must be monitored upon meeting, as she gets overwhelmed when meeting new dogs. Someone experienced will do best with this, and we prefer no kids under the age of older teenagers in the home as a result. But don't let that fool you b/c she'd mourn without other dogs! She loves to run around outdoors and wrestle with her besties, and then turn around and come inside for a good snuggle with them (or you...she LOVES to be in your lap!). You never see her without her best friends! Matilda will require a fenced yard due to her strong desire to play hard and run around...she also has a touch of stubborness and doesn't like to come when she's called, silly girl. Matilda is house trained and also crate trained, and she rides well in a car. She enjoys walks and outings, as well. Matilda is SUPER LOVEY with humans and adores them ALL! She is absolutely thrilled about vet visits, social time and anyone that notices her. If they don't, she says "HEY! I love you! Look at me!"
