Adopt a Saint Bernard (long coat)
Dozer the Dog needs a home
Dozer is smart and affectionate 4-year-old Saint Bernard. Weighing in at 176lbs, Dozer is a big boy and will need a person with large breed experience.
Dozer has enjoyed living life in the country with his mom and several other large breed dogs. Unfortunately, Dozer and the other Saint Bernard in the house began becoming protective of their human mom when the other dogs in the house would try to get attention from her. It seemed that Dozer would be happier in a home where he could be the only pet and get all the attention.
Because of having lived a quiet country life, Dozer hasn't met a lot of people. Men in particular. Since arriving at the rescue, he has met several men and has tried to avoid them as much as possible. As a result, we think that Dozer would do best in a female only household.
With the ladies, Dozer is completely relaxed, thinks he is an overgrown lap dog, and can't roll over for tummy rubs fast enough. He is a gentleman in the car and walks beautifully on a leash.
Dozer is potty trained, knows his basic commands, is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and HW negative.
