Sunny2 the Dog needs a home
Sunny was taken to a small NM shelter with her mom and brother when the authorities said their owner could not (and did not) care for them. There she lived entirely outdoors. She spent over two months in the shelter looking out of the rusted kennel fencing, wondering what happened. Now in foster care in the Denver area, Sunny is quiet, mellow, gentle and now housebroken. She can still be a little timid with strangers and prefers the ladies of the house to the men, but learning to like them too. Sunny loves to cuddle, is good with the cats, and getting better all the time on the leash. She does enjoy her walks too. There is no aggression toward dogs or people, despite likely not having much interaction with strangers. Kennel training is coming along well. Sunny is really a sweetheart that loves playing with the foster puppy who pesters her and also the male dogs in the foster home in Arvada.
