Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)
Juliet the Dog needs a home
WILL YOU BE THE ONE TO GIVE THEM THEIR HAPPY ENDING???
Foster or adopt Romeo and/or Juliet today!!!
Poor babies...Initially, Romeo and Juliet were found wandering the streets of the Inland Empire. They were in such horrible shape, we were stunned!!! These two precious pups were then placed in what we thought would be a fabulous home, only to have them returned FOUR YEARS later because the family wants to do more out-or-the-country traveling!!!
Once again, these two precious dogs need a new home. They can be placed together or separate. The good thing is that they are now both potty trained and have great house manners :-) Romeo is great with kids of all ages and other dogs. Juliet prefers the kids to be a little older and not in her face all the time. It takes her a few minutes to adjust to other dogs, but in the past, she had no problems with them. They both ride well in the car and walk nicely on the leash. They will give you as much love as you could ever want and all they ask for in return are the basics...food/water, shelter, and lots of love! Although they would love to be adopted together, they can also be split up.
Being in the 6-8 year old range, they qualify for our Senior-4-Senior adoption program with a FREE adoption fee! If you are not a senior, you may still adopt one or both of the dogs. The adoption fee for each dog is $150, but if you take both...the adoption fee will be $150 for both of them!!!
JULIET:
Unfortunately for Juliet, a baby came into the picture. Things were going okay and she acted indifferent toward the baby, but when the baby started to crawl, Juliet decided enough was enough. Since we don't know her history before we found her, we don't know if she has had bad experiences with babies, or she just doesn't understand them. Bottom line is that Juliet needs a babyless home. She has NOT hurt the child, has just been growling and she did try to bite at him one day. Per her current owner..."I think she would do much better with older kids... ideally, she would love to be with someone who might be older and home more often than not. She is a great companion dog, very good with adults (never barks, jumps on people, etc), and very gentle with adults!!! She's extremely easy to take care of, is easy to walk, and is potty trained. She has never had an accident inside the house. In fact, she has woken us up a couple times in the middle of the night and waited til we let her out to go to the bathroom."
We think she'd be great for a senior, small space living, someone who doesn't want the troubles that come with adopting a puppy, someone who likes to have a four-legged companion close by, etc.
