Meet Antonella:
Antonella, along with her mom and 3 siblings, was rescued from a backyard in Richmond Hill. When she and her family first came to the NTCR, they were terrified and afraid of human touch. They immediately went into foster care, and with persistence, guidance, patience, and love from their foster mom, they have learned to trust people.
Antonella is a sleek, short-haired, beauty with a couple of white patches and a white tiptoe. She is the shy and timid big sister, and quite often you will find her sitting beside her mom (Mamacita) up on a shelf watching and looking over her siblings and playmates. She likes to chase and tumble around with her siblings and playmates.
Antonella is wary when approached, but if you move in slowly she will lean forward to see if you are offering her anything; if not she will back up a little and wait. With more time and patience, Antonella will learn to trust and will make someone a beautiful companion.
