Blanche the Dog needs a home
Blanche is an 8 year old rat terrier mix who weighs about 14 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and is good with the cat. Blanche was brought to a local shelter after being hit by a car still wearing harness and leash. She didn't have any major injuries just a little road rash and was a little wobbly. She does have some nerve damage and limited sight in her left eye but it doesn't bother her. We lovingly call it her "crazy eye". She is a sweet girl who loves to be petted and freely gives kisses. Blanche is very slow to trust and will need an adopter that has is very relaxed and patient. She would not do well in an apartment and needs someone that is home more often than not. She's a great dog with tremendous potential just needs more time than most to adjust than most.
