Adopt a Dachshund / Terrier / Mixed (short coat)
Nikki the Dog needs a home
Nikki is a small Dachshund and Terrier mix dog who has the short stature of a wiener dog. She was born in 2004 and she is spayed. She will soon be up-to-date on her vaccinations. Nikki's fur is black with gray on her eyebrows, down her chest, and sporadically sprinkled throughout her fur. She has a long, gray lock of hair that emerges from her forehead. We're refraining from trimming the hair because we think it resembles a mohawk, and it makes Nikki unique and totally punk rock! Nikki's hoping that 2018 is a great year for her because she was passed around to different homes in 2017. She's a senior doggie and is sometimes confused by her surroundings. She likes to bark and sit on laps (when it's on her terms). She can't wait for spring to come and for the weather to warm up because then she can go outside more often! She LOVES being outside for walks in nice weather! Cold winter days are not for her! Please visit our shelter if you're interested in adopting this little old lady and giving her lots of love!
