I went from being a candidate for wearing Old Spice to Axe Body spray after the Vet looked at my teeth. Instead of being my 8 year old "sister's" brother, it's most likely I am her son. I was surrendered with another purebred Dachsund named Darcy. Although the volunteer was told we were sibs, my age is closer to 2 years old. My weight is much bigger than Darcy too, I weigh 22 studly pounds. I am a total cuddle boy and have made myself quite comfy at my Foster Home. It was easy transition because I'm already crate/house trained, great with dogs and kids, and walk well on leash. There are lots of cozy hideaways for me to burrow under the covers and snuggle. Including the 4 year old human's bed, whom I love to put kisses on.I have the long Doxie regal snout and look calm as I survey my kingdom, but I do know how to let my ears down and play with my 10 lb and my 75 lb foster friends. Once I'm comfortable, I will toss around a toy or two too. About the only naughty naughty I have to admit is pilfering the occasional food off the table while you aren't watching. It's okay though, I will kiss my way out of any jam and my gentle demeanor will make you brush off any no no. Adopt me! Just email [email protected] and tell them you want ME!
GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
