Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed (short coat)
Jacee the Cat needs a home
Hi! I'm Jaycee and I've been in foster care since I was a kitten. I like other animals, especially cats (I have a tabby foster brother I like to play with sometimes). My foster mom says I can be a super sweet cat but I am easily intimidated by fast movements and loud noises (she says I'm skittish). I hid under a bed for almost 3 weeks when I got to my new foster home because I was scared. I still have my own room but can come out over the gate any time I want; the gate just keeps the dogs and the big cat (who doesn't really like me) from coming into my space. I would prefer a calm home with humans who will allow me several weeks to get comfortable and having another kitty friend to play with. I promise I will come out and be a friendly kitty once I know I am safe, I just need extra time.
In my pictures depending on the lighting, she sometimes looks grey, but I am a beautiful brown tabby with black stripes. Foster mom sometimes calls me "Meep" for the sound that I make sometimes.
