Shirley the Dog needs a home
Welcome Shirley. She is a 1.5-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua is our best guess. She is about 12 pounds. She was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. She has been in a foster home convalescing. She is doing great. She was in lots of pain at first and with the time to heal and lots of love she is really thriving. She would be best in a home with an older couple or retired family or single. A quieter home is best and no kids. The rambunctiousness of kiddos would be too much for this sweet and gentle girl. She gets along great with other dogs of all sexes. She will not need mounds of exercise and a walk through your yard or a small walk would be sufficient. She is up on her shots, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in a foster home in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can use a transporter to deliver her to the East or the West Coast.
