Jezabelle joined Ruff Start Rescue from a shelter who took her in from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She was with them quite a while, fighting some skin issues.




Since she has joined her foster family with Ruff Start, we her skin issues have been resolved and she has a beautiful full coat! 




Jezabelle is a very sweet, loving dog. She loves human attention and craves affection. She is house trained and is doing great while on a schedule. She is also crate trained. 




Jezabelle is a very smart, fast learner. She already knows how to sit, and she redirects very well when she is doing something naughty, like sniffing the garbage.




She does well with other dogs, but takes slow introductions to warm up to them. She does show reactivity when seeing other dogs on a leash so slow intros are best for her. Because of the reactivity to new dogs she does also require a fenced in yard to keep her feeling safe.




Jezabelle does okay in the car if she is kenneled. We no longer let her loose in our car as she did get car sick the first time, but she does great when she is kenneled in the car.




One of Jezzie's favortie things is to play Tug-O-War, will you be her new tug partner?

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).



Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
