MEET GEORGIA!
A lovely red and white Australian Cattle Dog mix, Georgia is as pretty and athletic as a cattle dog comes. Smart as a whip, you can teach her anything at all and she’s a happy dog when she can please you by showing off her wits.
Georgia enjoys playing with some other dogs—and, like a good herding dog, she is often on alert to keep everyone in order. A great leash walker, she knows lots of commands and tricks, and would make a super hiking companion. She's also got love and affection in spades and likes nothing better than belly rubs and snuggling with her people on a comfy sofa. (Georgia is not a fan of small or young children, however, and should find a home with older kids and adults.)
Georgia is 49-pound, 5-year-old, spayed female Australian Cattle Dog mix, vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, and housetrained.
(Georgia came to us along with Wiggles, who is also up for adoption. They were owner-surrendered to the shelter together. Although they play together, they do not show signs of a true bonded pair. If you want to adopt them together, that's wonderful. But we also believe they will thrive and be happy on their own in their own forever homes.)
