Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (long coat)
Remi the Cat needs a home
All of our cats are microchipped, tested for disease, vaccinated, spay/neutered, treated for fleas and internal parasites and given lots of loving care during their stay at Parma Animal Shelter. We care for their medical needs and do our best to socialize them. If you have a question about any of our cats, feel free to e-mail us at [email protected]. Volunteers will provide information about their personalities and any recommendations for the best home environment possible for each individual cat. Adoption applications are available on our website parmashelter.org. As we get to know our animals, we will post updates on their behavior in the shelter. Thank you for your interest in our feline friends.
My name is Remi. I have been living outside for at least the last 6 months. I took up residence in the garage of the people who have been feeding me and my other kitty friends. One very cold night, I fell for the food in the carrier trick and was brought in out of the cold. I stayed in the bathroom for a week. I got a bath, food, and a nice warm pillow bed. I love people. I like being held like a baby while I sleep in your arms. I love being petted and getting lots of loving. I do NOT like to be around other cats. They stress me out. The only thing that stresses me out more is the dog....I do not like dogs at all! I am fine with people, including well mannered children. I am messy when I eat - I really get into my food. I drink water with my paws so you have to give me fresh water several times a day because I get kitty litter in my water. So if you are looking for a companion to cuddle with during the cold winter nights, you should come meet me!
