All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.



Health: Lois has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.

History: Lois comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

Notes from Lois's Foster Home:

While initially shy, Lois is a very sweet dog who likes to be with her people.  She can be very playful and loves to run and play.  She is also content to sit next to you or simply observe what you are doing.   She can be very expressive and her personality is definitely bigger than her tiny body. 

She settled quite nicely into our home and is happy to follow the lead of my resident dog.  We also have a dog-savvy cat and she has been curious but not aggressive.

She is crate trained and sleeps quietly throughout the night no accidents. She does need to be walked on a schedule or she may have an accident outside of her crate. 

Overall, I would say that Lois would do well with you if you are looking for a companion who will be your little shadow.  She is very observant and quick to learn. 
 

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
