Sonnie the Horse needs a home
Sonnie has been saddled several times and is not considered broke to ride yet. She is learning cues and what is being asked of her. She does know how to drive from the ground.
She has a fabulous mind, easy to be around and work with, great for farrier, stands tied well, great in herd. With some further training and commitment, Sonnie has the personality to become a fantastic horse (or kids) in any direction.
Sonnie has gained most of her weight back since weaning her colt, Lucky. This girl loves to be around people and is the first to greet us at the gate. We will be starting her sessions with saddling to see what she knows over the holiday break. Sonnie does excellent for our farrier and has great feet.
Sonnie is a gentle mare with a calm mind. We suspect she is broke or had lots of human contact. She has been halter and led with ease. We will start some ground work with her this summer.
Her foal, Lucky was born April 28/15.
Jan 30/15 - This mare just arrived and currently is in foal.
