Kendrick the Dog needs a home
UPDATE:
Kendrick has settled into a routine, where he is active and happy most days. He continues to have small sores on his skin which are managed with ointments as needed. He knows how to play with toys now, runs, and really enjoys chasing toads and frogs at the lake. His condition will require on going specialized care to manage his skin and joint pain - he is doing remarkably well right now

For those who follow Kendrick and his story, his histopathology report has confirmed Exfoliative cutaneous lupus erythematosus. These are big words with not a lot of promise, but we are going to give it all we have and investigate/research how we can further help him. When he arrived, he hurt so bad, he slept standing up. He now lays in blankets, has toys, eats, and we are managing symptoms. Send Kendrick some positive and healing thoughts.
