Pillow the Dog needs a home
My name is Pillow, and I am a two-year-old Pit mix. I have been in foster care looking for my forever home for almost a year and a half! I am a good boy, but I have had a rough past. My foster parents saved me from the "kill list" from New York City Animal Control. While they love me dearly, they know that the right thing is to find my perfect forever home. The good news is I am super snuggly! I LOVE LOVE LOVE humans and attention! All I want to do is spend every possible minute with you, whether it is doing chores around the house or watching movies. I am also very active and playful and I am content playing games like tug of war with you or sprinting around the yard with my favorite toy a "jolly ball". The bad news is while I love people, I would PREFER TO BE YOUR ONLY PET because cats are super fun to chase and I don't really know how to interact with other dogs. I could potentially live with the right canine sibling as I did in my original home, but with patience and training. I would really love a home with lots of room for me to run and people who have time to give me lots of attention and love. I could also live in a home with an active family looking for a new running or swimming partner. I am an all terrain kind of dog as I love running, swimming, hiking mountains and curling up on the couch. As long as I have a healthy outlet for my energy I am very well mannered and calm in the house. If you are looking for a constant companion, look no further!
