Honey came to Lucky Dog on 9/9 as part of an emergency evacuation from Jacksonville, Florida in advance of Hurricane Irma's arrival.  We are so grateful to all of the wonderful donors and volunteers who made this transport possible! 

A note from Honey: HI HEY THERE! Will you be my best friend?! Let's play! Fetch? Tug of war? Ok! Dog park! Every day please! Zoomies for everyone! I have lots of energy and want to play play play. Let's also go for a run - every day! Wherever and whenever! Lets just run and play and bounce! 

From Honey's adoption coordinator: Honey is HIGH energy. She is a young dog with little manners but is extremely smart and will be an amazing dog with a dedicated, strong, and disciplined owner...who also has a sense of humor.  Honey is also way too interested in cats and might confuse them with play toys..or food. So we ask that she goes to a home with NO cats. Also - Honey needs socialization. As a young dog, she hasn't really had the opportunity to get to know a lot of dogs in proper settings with boundaries. She's still learning a lot about doggy clues and asks that you be patient and help her learn what doggy behaviors are acceptable around her canine friends.

Like most shelter dogs, Honey may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
