There are numerous aspects you have to consider when taking care of a cat, especially when it comes to nutrition. But you need to see this from a different perspective. Cats are sensitive creatures just like humans, with plenty of necessities when it comes to maintaining a proper health and condition. And feeding is one of the most important aspects that affect their overall well-being. For more information please visit our website at www.animalshelter.org
The unexpected may happen and it is very possible that you will find a yellow spot on the floor or on your favorite carpet in the living room. The author of this will be your loving pet. And now what? How do you clean up the mess and how do you teach your pet to do this outside or in his special box? For more information please visit ouor website at www.animalshelter.org
Adopting a pet is a noble gesture. You are basically the savior of that soul and you are responsible for his life from that point forward. The post-adoption time is a real treat for anyone that is looking for a furry companion. However, the pre-adoption process can be a real nightmare for those that do not know much about adoptions. Wildlife living in forests are having a hard time these days, with clear cutting trees for new housing development that is going on. Some species are slowly becoming extinct. That means that our rapid growth might cause the complete disappearance of certain types of animals. Surely we, as responsible individuals, can do something about this. But what is there to be done? Adopt a German Shepherd Dog / Mixed
Jackie the Dog needs a home
Meet Jackie! This beautiful 6 year old Shepherd mix has flourished since arriving with Labs and More! She was used as a breeding dog until she was no longer useful to them, but is now loving life and being pampered in her foster home. Jackie is friendly and affectionate, loves to snuggle, and does well with other dogs of any size. She is a playful and happy girl who loves treats and all things that squeak. Jackie is house trained and has access to a yard (and her choice of dog beds) when her humans leave. This beauty has inoperable hip dysplasia with some arthritis and walks with a limp, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying life! The sight of her leash (meaning it's time for a walk) and new squeaky toys always get a speedy trot out of her. She takes glucosamine but otherwise doesn't need any medication except when she'll have a day with increased activity, like a trip to the park. She is calm, gentle, extra sweet, and can stay home uncrated without getting into anything. Jackie would love a forever family that enjoys a leisurely lifestyle and wants to be showered by her love. No kitties for this sweetie, she thinks they are far too fun to chase. If you would like to give this sweet girl a second chance at happiness, apply to adopt online today on our website.
This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is completing the adoption application, available with our adoption process on our website at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
