Oliver the Dog needs a home
Oliver was dumped out in the country in Oklahoma, and judging from the road rash on his little body, we think he was probably tossed from a moving car. He looked barely old enough to be weaned, and definitely wasn't old enough to be alone in an area where he could have been a tasty meal for a coyote. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan picked him up and took him to safety. Shortly after arriving in rescue, Oliver got sick with parvo and had to be hospitalized. Thankfully, with great
care from the good folks at All Heart Veterinary Center, he made a full recovery.
Oliver is a happy, healthy dog now, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a forever family. He gets along with other dogs, but we think he would be happiest in a home where he's the only dog, or maybe shares his family's attention with just one other dog of a similar size.
Oliver has lived on a farm with goats and chickens, and he has proven to be safe around them. But he's very much a house dog, with good manners inside the house.
