Chippy is an adorable, spunky little boy who loves to play, sit with his people and is kennel trained.

Chippy is deaf, but is extremely smart and is learning sign language! He understands his name, when to come and sit. When outside at night, Chippy will know when to come in with a flashlight or outside light code! Having a deaf dog has some definite advantages such as he does not bark when people are at the door, does not wake up when you are cheering on your favorite sport team or drop that pan in the kitchen. Chippy is an amazing dog and with just a few adjustments, you would not even know he is deaf!

Chipping loves to play with a toy, run around the house and is becoming more comfortable with including other animals in on his play.  He does requires a slower introduction to strangers, but once he knows you, he enjoys playing with you! Chippy also loves to touch you, but is not much of a cuddler. He is active and prefers to play and lay next to you vs. on you.

Chippy is looking for a special person or family to love him forever!
