KATIE #2 the Cat needs a home
From Katie's foster mom;
Katie is now in foster care and is just as sweet as honey with a little spunk to match. After some time outside she is loving her indoor life now. A smart and playful girl, she LOVES chasing strings and feathers across the floor. She is a huntress at heart but plays very gently with fingers.
Katie is shy at first but will develop a strong and charismatic bond with someone who is patient. You see her personality come out when she’s learned the routine of the house and developed trust. Katie will respond when you call to her and announce herself when she comes into a room with a polite little “mew.” She will even chat up the birds who visit out the window with a funny little “chirpchirpchirp.” We have seen her personality bloom and I’m sure it will continue to do so.
Katie has re-established a great deal of trust with people. Although she will startle easily she will also recover quickly with some gentle words or a wiggle of toy. Katie has been introduced to our medium/large-size dog under supervised conditions and is intent on keeping her distance. She has not met other cats but should be great with gentle and considerate kids.
