Hey there!! My name is Mong and I have quite the story! You see, I was saved from a dog meat farm in Korea. In Korea and many other countries, dogs are tortured and slaughtered for meat. I was on a farm awaiting this horrible fate when an amazing rescue group came and saved me and some other of my friends. My life started horrible and with lots of fear but I have learned that I can leave those terrible memories behind and be the happy go lucky guy I was always meant to be! I arrived in the U.S. and was somewhat timid for a couple days. Flying is for the birds! Now that I have settled into my foster home, I am so happy!! Some of my favorite activities include snuggling up next to my foster mom on the couch, playing with her other dogs, running around in her fenced in yard and trying to steal her food. I know it's frowned upon but it smells so delicious! I even stole part of her quesadilla the other day! Foster mom said that I can't do that anymore so we are working on me being polite when she's eating. Even though it's pretty cold, I've been doing really good with potty training. I very rarely have accidents in the house anymore! Foster mom is super impressed and proud of me! I would really love to always have a doggie companion around because I love to play! My doggie friend should be my size or a little bigger because I may not be super big but I play rough! I jump around like a maniac and make lots of noise so my four legged friend has to be playful like me! I am kenneled when I am alone at the house and I do well. When people are home though, I want to get out and enjoy your company! One habit I have that my foster mom is trying to teach me to break is pulling on her pants or sweater when I'm excited. I just get so happy, I pull on her clothes so that she doesn't forget how happy I am! She says there are other ways to express my excitement so we are working on that. After a day of eating, playing and being adorable, I love to snuggle up and the couch and relax and get pets. Foster mom says she cannot believe how I have overcome my past and that I am going to make someone VERY happy with my amazing personality! Could that be you?
