Frankie was adopted from the Pasco County, FL shelter, where she was taken as a stray. Since day 1 she showed to be perfectly potty trained and loved to snuggle. About a year ago, we moved from semi-rural Florida to busy Washington DC and while Frankie has tried her best to work out her shyness with new people and animals, we don't think she is really enjoying the big city. She loves the outdoors and has been a great hiking buddy. She also loves to pass out on the couch and work on her basic training commands for tasty treats. Due to her lack of socialization in her early years, she is wonderful at home with just her owners, but struggles with new people and new situations; that's why she needs a calm home and minimal exposure to strangers.
