Rocky the Dog needs a home
My name is Rocky! I am a terrier mix born approximately October 2009 and about 30 pounds, so considered a medium sized dog. I was left in the back yard of a rental property by my previous family when PATCH picked him up April 2015. From the history gathered about Rocky he was treated like a lawn ornament and was left outside his whole life with little to no attention or affection.
Rocky is a special needs dog due to his previous treatment and it will take someone with a lot of patience and understanding to be a match with Rocky. He does great with other dogs but can be a bit in your face with little dogs. He loves toys and loves to play tug-o-war.
Rocky has come a LONG way, likes to go for car rides, walks on a leash, trained to go in crate, outside potty, likes to be next to you and get attention. He would be GREAT for an older couple, experienced dog people and possibly older children who can read his body languange because he can get cantankerous. He does bark at people walking by, noises, so could be a good watch dog.
