Lady the Dog needs a home
Finally, after almost a year, we think Lady may be ready for a home of her own. She's made a lot of progess, but she has very specific needs!
Lady is a small sable girl about 5 years old weighing under 20 lbs. She had a rough start in life and is learning to trust people. She has made progress in her foster home and adores her foster mom. Once she bonds to someone, she is affectionate, playful an
d tolerable of handling from that person. She enjoys playing with other dogs her size and sometimes will play with a toy. She is crate trained and walks fairly well on a leash now, however, is not reliable with housebreaking. She absolutely needs a securely fenced yard with at least a 5 ft fence as she can jump over anything of at least 36" and spooks at noises easily. No exceptions! The perfect home for her would be a single woman with a quiet home and fenced yard as stated above. A person experienced with puppy mill dogs is a plus. Absolutely no children as she is terrified of them. Lady is being fostered in Kearneysville, WV.
