Meet Hank! He is an 8 year old neutered male mix. 70-80 lbs. Sweet and people oriented. Likes pets and scratches and attention. Perfectly house-broken. He is very good on a leash. He can be very sweet and wants to please. He is currently fostered with another large dog, two small dogs and several cats - however, he is closely monitored and often kept separate. He needs his own permanent home where he will be loved and can be the center of attention. He is good when left alone - no barking, no chewing or destructive behavior. He understands and responds very well to "no" and "leave it" commands. Commotion and drama are not good for him. A home with no small children is recommended. Several very small grandchildren (ages 8mos-5yrs) visit his foster and there has never been an incident, however these are short visits and he is closely monitored. He was rehomed by his family because living with two very small children in the house 24/7 was too much for him. Because of their worry, he was kept crated for long periods of time which makes him not like his crate as most dogs do. Hank loves exercise. His foster home has a large fenced yard, but he is let out separately from the other dogs. He is not loud, but will bark at a knocked door. A great protector.
