Meet Groot, an easy-going “low rider” with a mission to love as many humans and critters as he can lay his eyes on! Groot is a terrific friend for any family and is living in foster care with multiple persons and furry friends of the canine and feline kind. This guy is a perfect sleeper and does not need to be crated, as he is respectful of all around him. Groot loves his walks, is a fabulous hiking partner, and enjoys exploring wide open spaces. No need for special introductions to any dog, as Groot is like that social butterfly at a cocktail party, always at ease meeting new friends. Take him to work, travel to the cottage, introduce him to the kids around the corner…Groot loves it all! Although Groot lives with cats he can be overly curious about them, which may result in a game of tag, but a dog-savvy kitty might know just how to handle Groot’s energy.
If there was an award for best snuggler we think Groot would win hands down. His favourite spot is always on your lap or spooning you on the bed. Toss a ball for him in the yard and he could go all day.
